The Dangers of Censorship Battles
Letter from Robert Cormier to Gloria 26 January 1987
Cormier’s letter is a short meditation on censorship and its influences – particularly upon himself, as a writer. In it, he acknowledges the danger into which Gloria and other journalists place themselves while defending specific texts and the larger issue of freedom of the press.
